Description
It is gentler than its more famous cousin and was originally used as a minor ingredient in Bordeaux blends. It is a relative newcomer to Israel where it is used alone.
It was aged in oak for 14 months and has a dark crimson color with black pepper, tobacco, licorice, walnuts and chocolate notes and a full velvety body with a long spicy finish. This wine is best pair with grilled salmon or BBQ beef steaks.
