Description
Clonakilty – Double Oak Finish – Single Batch – is the flagship of Clonakilty’s Cask Finish Series. A premium product matured in ex-bourbon casks, it is finished in virgin American oak; and shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-red wine European oak casks (NEOC, New Era of Cask).
Relatively mild and smooth throughout. Sweet up front followed by vanilla and oak and a bit of spicy ginger lingering at the finish, leaving your tongue tingling.
