Description
This release of the Corazon de Agave Expresiones Anejo Tequila was rested for 26 months in Buffalo Trace Distillery’s William Larue Weller Bourbon Barrels. This expression started with Corazon’s award winning tequila blanco that was then rested in the W.L. Weller bourbon barrels. Throughout the aging process, the tequila absorbed the finest nuances of the bourbon from the wooden barrel.
This pale, transparent gold tequila brings rich aromas of gentle spices, oak, caramel, cherries and apples. The pallet is harmoniously smooth, enhancing the notes in the aroma with eucalyptus, red peppers, cooked agave and spicy Mexican chocolate.
