Description
Seriously cut viognier. Some of the classic floral and peach character (probably more to come with a little age) but even more citrus, flint and saline minerality.
WINEMAKER NOTES
This comes from a couple small patches of my pinot vineyard that I grafted over to viognier in 2011 and 2018. The resulting wine is pretty varietally correct, with viognier’s flashy floral aromatics, but on the leaner, crisper end of the spectrum.
