• Highland single malt Scotch whisky produced by Loch Lomond in Alexandria, Scotland (Highlands)
• Made in partnership Cristie Kerr, 2-time championship-winning professional golfer turned winemaker, of Kerr Cellars
• 100% unpeated malted Scottish barley
• Distilled on 2 types of copper pot still: a traditional swan neck still and Loch Lomond’s signature ‘Lomond’ cylindrical-neck pot still (pot still with a short cylindrical neck containing 3 rectifying plates and fitted with a cooling ring)
• Aged for approximately 16 years in ex-bourbon casks
• Finished for 10 months in Kerr Cellars (St. Helena, California) 2016 vintage Calera Clone Pinot Noir red wine casks
• Kerr Cellars wine casks are made from Vosges oak from eastern Alsace, seasoned for 3 years prior to cooperage; staves and head receive a custom heavy toast
• 4000 bottles produced
• Delicately aromatic on the nose with apple blossom and coconut evolving into honey, almond, and pistachio. The palate is elegant and pretty, developing nutty and tropical themes into distinct notes of vanilla and pineapple. Gorgeous tropical fruit and toasted coconut are framed by oak and tobacco on the finish.
