Description
Moussé Fils is best known for its Pinot Meunier-driven Champagnes, but *Anecdote* showcases the house’s brilliant touch with Chardonnay. Sourced from a small plot in Cuisles, a village more famous for Meunier, this Blanc de Blancs is fermented in stainless steel and bottled as Extra Brut to highlight its bright, mineral-driven profile.
The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of green apple, citrus peel, and wet limestone, alongside a touch of almond. The palate is racy and precise, with flavors of lemon zest, crisp pear, and a lingering, saline finish.
Pair this vibrant Blanc de Blancs with oysters, ceviche, or grilled white fish for a perfect food match. A unique expression of Chardonnay from an unexpected terroir.
