From the Importer:
- Aged rhum agricole produced by Rhum J.M in Macouba, Martinique
- Distilled from sugarcane juice; sugarcane is grown on the J.M estate and surrounding farms located near the distillery
- Sugarcane is crushed within one hour of harvest and open fermented with French baker’s yeast for 24 hours
- Distilled on a Creole copper column still
- Aged 24 months on-site at the Fonds-Préville distillery in a combination of French and American oak barrels of varying char levels
- Proofed with spring water sourced from Mt. Pelée
- A luscious nose of tapioca, Bananas Foster, clover honey, Nilla Wafers, hibiscus, and lemon zest lead to a bright palate of new oak complemented by cinnamon powder and lemon oil, finishing with almonds and macadamia nuts
- 42% ABV
