Grüner Veltliner is Austria’s most important white grape. The best grüner veltliner comes from the Kamptal, and the best Kamptal grüner veltliner is always marked DAC (Districtus Austriac Controllatus) which when translated from German basically means it’s pretty darn delicious! Young, bright, dry, and fresh with green apple and a beautiful, zippy essence of meyer lemon, this wine dances on the palate and offers a fabulous finish.
