Distiller Notes: “Subtle Spirits is an independent bottling company founded by Joshua Thinnes. Each release has a story and features artwork commisssioned exclusively for Subtle Spirits. Maison Dudignon has produced Cognac at their family distillery since 1776. This cognac was made from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the most prestigious region of Congac, Grande Champagne. it is the only single cask, cask strength bottlings made avaliable from Dudognon.”
Nose: Orange zest, vanilla, lychee, apricots and honeysuckle mingle with baking spices and leather to deliver a truly exstatic experience.
Palate: Full and rich but remains light on it’s feet due to it’s bright acidity and lift from the alcohol (49.5% abv). The flavors are well balanced and follow the nose.
