The2017 El Chaparral de Vega Sindoa Old Vines Garnachaopens with a very pleasing aroma of ripe black cherry, blackberry, raspberry and plum plus nice touches of licorice, coffee and anise.
The wine tastes juicy and delicious and features similar flavors to the nose with some nice balsamic notes.
Dusty tannins lead into the dry, very long, slightly grippy finish featuring more coffee, a hint of an earthy streak and long-lasting tart berry fruit.
