Description
This is an 8 year old bottling of independent bottlers Wemyss’ The Hive. Wemyss name all their whiskies by their flavor profile, with the help of Charles Maclean, the whisky writer. The Hive selection of malts are intended to (as the name suggests) have a honeyed taste profile.Up to ten different single malt whiskies are expertly blended together before introducing the “signature” malts to create three distinct taste profiles; ‘Spicy’, ‘Peaty’ and ‘Honeyed’.The Hive uses a signature malt from Speyside, giving citrus and honeyed top notes.
