Released on the 22nd August 2015 at the Willet gift shop, this well aged Bourbon was matured in barrel #C69A. This barrel is believed to be wheated bourbon produced at Bernheim distillery, prior to its takeover by Heaven Hill.

It is an un- chillfiltered, barrel proof, straight Bourbon Whiskey of unusual depth and complexity. This bottle has been aged for 22 Years & is from Barrel No. C69A.

Willett Family Estate Single Barrel No. C69A 22 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Nose reminiscent of toasted oak layered with vanilla bean, figs and a light touch of dark caramel.

Palate: Taste is accented with notes of torched sugar and apples baked in honey and spices.

Finish: Long finish with honey and allspice.

The Willett Distilling Company or Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, as it is also known, is a small, family-owned company that markets Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. They’re located in Bardstown, Kentucky. As a relatively large independent bottling company, they’re called the big daddy of Bourbon and Rye Bottling.
